Lange & Söhne, Glashütte, chronograph with 30-minute register, 55mm, 18K gold original HC with Jurgensen-style lips, gold cuvette, white enamel triple-sunk dial, fancy gold Louis XV style hands, SW-LS with setting mechanism released by depressing button on pendant, lever escapement, gold lever and escape wheel, at least 18J, gilt mvt, s#63293 with matching serial number within case. Comes with its original fitted leather box with certificate bearing matching movement serial number and with compartments containing an extra mainspring and an extra crystal wrapped in paper. Comes also with a 17-inch 14K gold chain. Gross weight of assembled watch 76.1 dwt (118.5 g). Gross weight of 14K gold chain 12.9 dwt (20.1 g). In all a superb complete example in top condition throughout.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, good chronograph and register function, overhaul recommended for sweep hand function, virtually mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, superb gilt tone, surfaces are virtually pristine with only a minuscule speck of oxide to perimeter of larger winding wheel; nearly flawless dial with small fine scratch within right side of seconds-register; nearly mint hands, hour and minute of somewhat different gold tone; case shows hardly any wear, some fine to micro-fine scratches and mild abrasions to lids, two minuscule pinpoint nicks to band near 1:30, case front and rear open somewhat less than 90 degrees as seen in photo; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal; box is excellent with just some light wear and few small bits of loss to exterior finish
